When Campari sent me one of their new limited edition bottles to create a cocktail recipe, the first thing I thought of was The Negroni. Not only is the Negroni my favourite cocktail because it’s tasty and super strong, but one sip always sends me straight back to when I was introduced to the drink in Florence, Italy.
Ah, Florence. The trip when, yes, I was first introduced to the Negroni and drank so many that I had to be carried out of a club by my newfound friends. Despite this (and the hangover I endured the next day), it is still my cocktail of choice. Trust me, this is no Cosmopolitan. When I was introduced to this drink I was warmed it was a very strong “old man’s drink” which is what made me like it even more.
If you’re up for it, keep reading for how to make a Negroni recipe with Camari!
