Guess what? It’s been one whole year since the launch of GracieCarroll.com – Happy! Birthday! Bloggy! Technically the official birthday is this Wednesday, October 17th but I always think it’s best to start the celebrations early, don’t you? It is crazy to think that it has already been one year; part of me feels like it was launched just weeks ago, and another part feels like I’ve been working on it for years. Either way, it has been an absolutely incredible year and I thank you all for your continued love and support, it really means so much to me!
There will be a birthday party to celebrate on Wednesday night in Toronto from 6-10pm. If you’re in the city please come by the new Queen Street West location of Shop Sauvage to celebrate the opening of their new location along with my 1 year anniversary. Indulge in free drinks, food, dancing to the amazing DJ HUGGS and lots of fun fun fun! Did I mention 15% the entire store all night? What I love even more than a great party is awesome presents, and no birthday would be complete without many of those – am I right?? To show my gratitude, I will be giving away some of “Gracie’s Favourite Things” all week because in the great words of one of my co-workers at ELLE UK: “Everyone needs presents!!”

Lace Up Booties by Costa Blanca
It is officially boot season and this is my favourite way to wear a bootie. For a shorty like me, I generally like to always add on an extra 3-5 inches of height every time I leave the house. I’m quite certain the height I was meant to be in life is much closer to 5’9″ rather than the 5’4″ I really am. How cute will these boots be with some wooly socks and a good skirt? Ps.
