This set of photos is from a feature on my friend Arden Wray‘s blog, Boots and Pine, back in the spring. I really admire Arden’s photography work, and absolutely love shooting with her. Not only is she a cool, talented chick, but she has a real knack for making her subjects feel both at ease and beautiful at the same time (even when she’s got a giant camera stuck in your face.) In these photos, Arden somehow managed to capture the many moods of Gracie…which makes me laugh, but they are some of my favourites ever taken. Where she placed me — with it’s bold wall of colour, accented by black wrought iron — was absolutely brilliant for this outfit. It makes me a bit sad that Toronto recently lost Arden to New York, but hey, all the more reason to visit right?
