Why so serious? Well, walking in those platform sandals requires quite a lot of concentration! I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve nearly fallen flat on my face while wearing these shoes this summer. In fact, the last time I wore them to go out at night I did, literally, fall flat (not on my face) but hands and knees. It might be foolish to wear something so dangerous just because it’s fashionable, but hey, I love them and they go perfectly with this Chloe Comme Parris dress. This is one of my favourite new wardrobe staples I scored at the last CCP sample sale; it’s extra special because it will most likely be one of my last pieces from the brand before it was renamed Beaufille. Although you can’t tell from this angle, the dress is actually quite scandalous when viewed from the sides… let’s just say there’s not much that holds the front and back sides together.
