It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached September, so I decided to post one last summer look featuring one of my favourite pieces from the season: this silk Laura Siegel dress.
The dress is one I picked up at Siegel’s recent sample sale in Toronto that was hosted alongside Ela handbags. Naturally I couldn’t resist stopping a sample sale held by two of my favourite local designers, and even a quick visit had me walking out the doors with two new bags, and one new dress.
I instantly gravitated towards the eye-catching emerald green colour of the dress, and loved that the tie dye print was kept focused to the centre. The simple spaghetti straps also feature a t-strap at the back.
This look was pulled together with the addition of the Diogo Miranda overwised moto jacket I picked up in Lisbon, a pair of simple silver sandals from Aldo, and black star-studded clutch by Ela I picked up at the sale.
Summer is almost over, and I can’t help but wonder if this will be one of the last times I’ll wear a head-to-toe outfit in a bright colour. When fall sets in, I can help but resort back into my monochromatic uniform.
What I Wore: Dress by Laura Siegel, jacket by Diogo Miranda, sandals by Aldo, clutch by Ela Handbags, necklace Michelle Ross from The Chic Canuck.
