Gotstyle has been known in Toronto for years as one of the go-to retailers for stylish men in the city, especially those who frequent the King West strip. What Gostyle is not as known for, is their newer Distillery District location that features curated womenswear alongside their hand-picked menswear. Why you ask? Well, you can imagine how many girlfriends and wives wanted to shop while the men did too.

It’s fantastic to see that already, the Gostyle Woman team has been putting in a huge effort to feature local and Canadian designers. Above, I’m wearing a jacket by my favourite sportswear designer, MICHI, and a clutch by Ela Handbags — both talented Toronto-based designers.

All of these looks — from office ready to party ready — show a different side of me, and a different side of the Gotstyle woman. It’s quite cool to shop in a place where you can get crazy, or conservative, or even laid back with your look. Most of the girls in the shop (myself included as you can see below) were sporting a striped t-shirt and pair of jeans (or leather leggings) on the lazy Saturday morning that we shot these looks right in-store with my photographer, Janick Laurent. We all like to refer to the look as our “Weekend Uniform”.
