Ahhh, if only this beautiful backdrop was a regular sight in my daily life! Isn’t it gorgeous? The view is in Niagara-On-The-Lake, the quaint Ontario town that I like to visit once or twice a year for a weekend out of the city. It has always struck me as a place that would make the perfect set for a Christmas movie, so it was rather fun to visit so soon after the holidays and catch it while still in all of its festive glory.
Of course the main reason for my visit to the Niagara Region was to attend the Icewine Festival in Jordan, Ontario; it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend attending over the next two weekends! That is, of course, if you enjoy great local food and wine as much as I do.
After spending Saturday at the Icewine Festival, we drove out to NOTL Sunday morning so I could share one of my favourite Southern Ontario towns with my cousin Hana as it was her first visit. We brunched, we shopped, we enjoyed a glass (or two) of more wine, and Spa’d at the amazing Obann Inn.
We were so lucky to have mild and fairly sunny weather while we were away after the big deep freeze! This outfit, from Ann Taylor, was the perfect cozy, comfortable and chic look for a lazy Sunday spent wandering around town.
Especially when paired with my new Dior sunglasses of course!
The full look was topped off with my cashmere Steven Alan toque (currently on crazy sale at Barneys!!), Jas M.B. pony hair bag, and Givenchy rain boots.
Do you have any favourite spots in Niagara-On-The-Lake or the Niagara Region? Leave a comment and let me know!
