Whenever I get to hang out in the same city as my New York-based bestie, she always makes our favourite cocktail that we drink endlessly until we part. Infused with lemon and honey, and heavy on the bourbon, this drink always reminds me of a delicious tea you might have when you’re under the weather, except that this one always makes you feel extra good. Delicious when served hot or cold, I finally got Sara to write down the recipe for me on a night when we decided to make Jamie Oliver‘s fried chicken recipe for a Southern-themed dinner. Naturally I decided to name this drink the SLC aka Southern Lady Cocktail, after her initials. Keep reading for how to make this easy and delicious cocktail!
