When your schedule is filled with attending events on a regular basis, sometimes the best party you can look forward to over the holidays is the one that happens at home. At least that’s how I feel anyway, especially this December! This year has been an exciting whirlwind that, best of all, has ended with being able to call myself a homeowner; even more reason why I never want to leave home!

This year my ideal holiday party outfit consists of a chic pajama set like this one from Old Navy. A navy set with white polka dots? Yes please! It’s also quite fortunate that rocking pajamas as an outfit can still be pulled off as a fashionable trend.

Even if you are going to wear pajamas to your own at-home holiday party, it’s still fun to dress up a little and feel extra fancy when you’re staying cozy and relaxing. I added a great pair of sparkly silver flats from Old Navy and tear drop statement earrings that were a gift from my friend Brooke.

To me the holidays are all about spending quality time with friends and family, and staying cozy at home. If you decide to party in your pajamas, who cares? If your friends and family really love you, they will understand…and hopefully join you!
