After months and months of admiring the necklace hanging around the neck of my dear friend Alanna, she finally gifted me with one of my own last week (what an amazing bestie she is!). What’s so special about it? Well, it features a crystal placed inside an old bullet casing and is made by a young local jewellery designer named Carley Christie which makes it pretty cool, n’est-ce pas? Carley works with Alanna at Aritzia on Bloor Street and focuses on her jewellery line “The Revery by Carley Christie” in her spare time.
