Oh to be a Prima Ballerina in Paris and have all of your costmes made by Christian Lacroix! What a magnificent life that would be, non?

Take a moment to watch this lovely featurette at the Paris National Opera house, where Monsieur Lacroix chats about the costumes he’s designed for ‘La Source’ a new ballet debuting at the PNO. The mini film also features interviews with ‘l’etoile’ (wish my title was l’etoile!) the beautiful Prima Ballerina. Apparently Swarovski provided over 2 million crystals used in the 130 costumes – imagine the sparkle!
