HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROOTS CANADA! It’s such an honour to be included in a group of their favourite style makers and influencers to celebrate 41 years of great #SweatStyle.
The #SweatStyle campaign (which can be seen in-stores, online and through print advertising) is all about showcasing our individual #SweatStyle. Since I’ve always been a bit of a hoodie fanatic, it felt totally natural showing off how I love to incorporate sweats into my style. Of course, my absolute favourite way is to pair sweats with a good motorcycle jacket.
Another really special aspect of this campaign is that Roots asked each of us about a charity that we love to support. For me, I choose to highlight New Circles, which is one of my favourite charities in Toronto. New Circles helps to provide clothing to families in need throughout the GTA. We annually collaborate to help spread the word about their clothing drive for the Prom Boutique they set up for teens to find fabulous outfits for their big night. Upon the launch of the campaign Roots generously donated $1500 on my behalf to support New Circles.
