Today is a very sad day for Toronto. One of the city’s best boutiques, UPC, is closing its Yorkville doors for good at 5pm. UPC has been a very special place to me over the years, not only because I’ve known owners, Maha and Anat, since their days as sales agents at Gangbar Winslade (my high school internship!), but because it is one of my favourite boutiques… in the world! Seriously. These two have always been quick to pick up on contemporary lines that no one else was carrying in Toronto, while also supporting some of the country’s best emerging talents. Not only that, but they were always just so nice to go in and talk to! They’re having a major blowout sale until their final hour today (up to 90%off!!) so I highly recommend hopping over for a final goodbye and super shop. For more info click HERE.
The above photo was taken by Steven of Silhouetted Skyline early last fall in which I’m wearing head-to-toe UPC. This was submitted for a competition by We Are Wool for how to wear knits stylishly – the girls were kind enough to let me go in and style myself for the shot. Below, a picture from ELLE where I’m wearing my amazing Luella sunglasses that I bought from UPC a couple years ago.
I’m going to miss you UPC + Maha and Anat! xoxoxoxxo
