Since two of my favourite drinks include Champagne and an Old Fashioned, I was instantly drawn to the ‘Autumn Jewel’ cocktail recipe with Chandon that includes many of the same ingredients that make up a classic Old Fashioned. I always love the warming and festive notes of the classic cocktail, and Thanksgiving (aka all fall and winter) is the perfect time to indulge in tasty cocktail that you can easily make at home and even impress your friends and family with! Here’s what you need to make the Autumn Jewel cocktail recipe with Chandon:
Autumn Jewel Cocktail Recipe with Chandon
What You Need:
- 1 oz maple syrup
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 4 oz Chandon Brut Classic
- rosemary sprig
- orange zest
What To Do:
- pour the maple syrup into a highball glass
- add the bitters and gently stir
- pour in the Brut
- add ice, rosemary sprig and orange zest
Pretty simple, right? Now, if I were you, I would make this wonderful cocktail and snuggle up by the fire with a cozy blanket, and, perhaps, your favourite show on Netflix on repeat. Unless, of course, you are actually hosting friends and family, in which case you should probably entertain them without the TV on and enjoy the cocktails all together.
