It could be the 1950s housewife in me, but I love to dress up when I cook, especially when hosting. Over the weekend I hosted my dear friends Richard and Simon of Quill & Tine who admired my Ann Taylor and Robert Rodriguez outfit just as much as the meal I made them. They gave me extra props for getting decked out to be in front of the stove. Our discussion of “juggling it all” lead to their question: “Gracie, do you ever sleep?”
Sleep? Me? “Not really!” was my truthful answer. With a full-time job by day, full-time blog by night, I’m a busy girl with a crazy schedule to keep up with. Needless to say, I basically have an IV drip filled with coffee attached to me at all times. Well, not really, but with the amount of free time I have in a day, I need my coffees fast so I can go go go!
My latest kitchen discovery is the Keurig and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-cups. Why do I love it? Because it makes a fresh cup of Folgers coffee in 30 seconds, which means it’s a machine that’s approved for the Gracie Carroll lifestyle.
