It’s a brand new year, and a brand new chance to do more GOOD! If you’re looking for a way to support a good cause, here are 3 upcoming charity events in Toronto that you can easily take part in!
16th Annual Yonge Street Mission’s PATH Clothing Drive.
When: Monday, January 20th to Friday, January 24th, 2014.
Where: 17 locations along Toronto’s iconic underground PATH
What: Did you know that one if four people in Toronto lives in poverty? Not only is the city’s rate drastically higher than the provincial and national averages, but in some of the city’s lower income areas (such as Regent Park, Moss Park and St. James Town) the numbers increase to more than half. If you have extra gently used clothing for men, women and children use this great opportunity to donate them to those in need!

Where: Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
What: Elizabeth Grant Skin Care and charitable division EG Cares have returned to present the third annual The Big Give, taking place at the exciting new location of Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto. 100% of generated proceeds will go to the Look Good Feel Better organization which brings together women with cancer in a safe and supportive environment where they can share stories, insights, laughter, and feel “normal”.
