The holiday season is definitely one of the most wonderful times of the year to be at Square One Shopping Centre. Why? Not only does it have almost every retailer you could ever want in order to cross off every person on your list, but the holiday decor is so tasteful and beautiful that you feel like you’re shopping inside a winter wonderland.

This year is especially exciting as it includes the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique to help you enjoy your holiday shopping experience at Square One. Located on the second level between Hudson’s Bay and Victoria’s Secret, services at the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique includes gift wrapping, coat and parcel check, as well as a VIP lounge and cafe. Of course we can’t forget about the super glam Santa’s Winter Wonderland located in front of the GAP on level 2. If you haven’t yet taken your Santa pictures this year, you’ve still got plenty of time! Santa’s Winter Wonderland is still open for complimentary visits until December 24th, with professional photo packages ranging from $10-$50. Honestly, when was the last time you saw a Santa set up in a shopping centre that’s this tasteful?

From Brandy Melville, located in the North extension of Square One, I loved their assortment of cozy plaid shirts. I mean, it’s a truly Canadian gift that every Canuck loves! This is a great shop if you are shopping for a fashion-focused teen, or tween.

Oak & Fort proved to have tons of great clothing pieces (like this fabulous holiday dress) at extremely affordable prices. They also had great understated jewellery in the $20-30 price range which is perfect for a stylish secret santa gift idea.

Of course if you’ve got a bigger budget for jewellery gifts, you can always visit Pandora for their vast array of collectable charms and jewellery.

And if your budget is extra extra big, you can head on over to Ben Moss. I personally recommend their beautiful Blossom Cut collection of exquisite diamond rings.

I think its safe to say that for most of us, we have to keep a budget in mind when gift shopping for friends and family. I love that stores like Rudsak give you the option to splurge (like on their luxe jackets below) or on smaller pleasures such as their adorable fur and leather ear muffs. I would be ecstatic to receive these on Christmas morning!

White House Black Market was full of holiday sparkle, just as it should be at this time of year. I love giving gifts that I know will go beyond Christmas day, like this adorable sequin clutch that would easily add to any woman’s new year eve outfit. Of course no one could blame you for picking up something for yourself too, like those sequin pants below!

As easy as it is to get caught up in all the glitter and sparkly things at this time of year, we can’t forget about the men in our lives! Right? Harry Rosen is my personal go-to in order to get everyone done at once. Honestly, you really can’t go wrong with a good new sweater, tie, or selection of socks. I also love that you find something for everyone from your dapper younger brother, to your grandpa.

Definitely don’t forget about beauty and skincare products for holiday gifting, especially when its from Kiehl’s! Often we don’t treat ourselves to higher-end skincare because of the cost, but it sure is great to get it as a gift, and especially at this time of year when our skin has to deal with harsh weather on a daily basis!

Now here’s the present that tops my personal wish list this year! How great would it be to stay cozy over the holidays with a pair of UGG house slippers? Super great is what I say! This is definitely something that would be appreciated by men, women, and even kids too! Thankfully, they have it all at the UGG store.

We definitely all have friends and family who are obsessed with fitness and well-being. Heck, maybe its even you yourself! If so, good for you! If you’re gift shopping for your favourite yogi, be sure to pop into Lole to for everything from yoga wear to knit leg warmers that would make great stocking stuffers.
