Blogging about Spring outfits is feeling more and more like a cruel joke as we enter into a March that, in parts of the US, is literally the coldest its been since the 1800s. Sure, I may not be located in ‘parts of the US,’ but, seeing as my geographic location is guaranteed to be North of said parts, you can count on my word that it is pretty damn cold here. Did I mention it’s snowing again?

O the bright side of things, I had the pleasure of taking part in a fun photoshoot a couple of week’s ago for the eLUXE SS14 Lookbook, which, thankfully, took place inside. The ‘Big City Style‘ lookbook featured “some of Toronto’s most influential bloggers” to show off what’s hot for spring, and I am so flattered that the eLUXE team chose to include me in the group!

My love for Missoni is so intense that I break into a near sweat every time I get near it. Hence why I gravitated so quickly to this hot M Missoni body con dress. Always easily distracted by something shiny, I was quick to pick up the Large Editor’s Pouch by Ela. In general, I’m a big fan of jackets (of all shapes and styles) and can never seem to accumulate enough. Personally I love to throw jacket over a look like this to dress it down slightly, and give it more of an edge. All the better if its a bad ass biker jacket, but this Rebecca Taylor black tweed jacket is a great, classic piece that is definitely handy for making almost anything more work-appropriate.

Everyone involved put together great looks that really showed off not only the fab new SS14 pieces on eLUXE.ca but reflected everyone’s unique individual style — I mean, just look at  Nelia, Sharon and Justine below!
