As most of you probably know by now, I LOVE to travel; which is exactly why I’m taking part in Twin Set Canada‘s favourite blogger contest. Do you love me? Or at least GracieCarroll.com? The story behind the picture: Twin Set asked me to model one of their spring summer pieces (the top above) in a Toronto setting that reminded me most of Italy. Sure, Little Italy on College Street is what first came to mind, but in all honesty the area doesn’t remind me of Italy at all. With its cobblestone streets and secret passages (not to mention my new street style photographer, Lennon Sweeting’s mini pup, Miss Jackie O.) the Distillery District is what ultimately won the title of “Little Italy” in Toronto. The print mix in my outfit refers to my love for print-on-print dressing, and the fact that I think Italian’s do print best. I mean, hello, Missoni anyone?
