Last week, Burts Bees invited me over to Rosedale for some early morning yoga and a bit of bee talk. It was such a lovely time that now I’m going to tell you all about it! Here we go…
1. The Yoga
Have you ever seen a yoga room so nice? I certainly haven’t. What a way to wake up! This was at 889 Yoga and Wellness Spa, which is basically the fanciest yoga studio I have ever been to. Obviously, I am now obsessed with it. Lucky for me, I had a fun yoga buddy who came in the form of Julio from Fashionights. He wore Alexander Wang and I wore American Apparel. He had his Louis Vuitton bag and I had my Givenchy boots. Everyone gave us weird looks, but we looked real good. #Fashion
2. The Breakfast
Any event is a success in my eyes when they serve good food. Great choice of caterer, Burts Bees! How cute is my little mini parfait? “MINI MINI MINI!” That’s what my friend Phillippa from ELLE UK would have said if she had been there too. Then she would have held it up close to her face and given it a little kiss, the girl just loves anything mini!
3. The Products
Burts Bees have always been a beauty favourite of mine. Why? Because they are an earth-friendly and natural product company – and that’s very important! Everything you put onto your skin gets absorbed into your body. So why would you want to feed it with unhealthy, chemical-filled body food? Think about it. I don’t think you would really want to do that. These are basic staples of the Burts Bees line, but their huge range has something for everyone. For example, they have a full line for babies, men and super sensitive skin. Take a look HERE.
4. The Winner
This is Burts Bee’s Rosewater & Glycerin Toner, and I just wanted to highlight it because I think it is my favourite product of theirs. I haven’t actually tried it yet, but I know it’s going to be great and have been contemplating buying it for quite a while. Finally I had the chance to smell it at this event and it smells AMAZING. In fact, I’m going out to buy it right now, goodbye!
