Before I launch the next super exciting series of  What I Wore, I wanted to get up-close and personal with my looks from the recent Blogger Style feature on Holts Muse. I love all of these photos, shot by the very talented Mr. Adam Moco, and the team was nice enough to send me the OG photos so I could share them with all of you. Here’s a breakdown of how and why I put together each look.

When I showed up at Holt Renfrew, they told me I had to work with one key spring item and create three different looks. My spring piece to work with? The little pastel crew neck sweater. Since I am basically the queen of sweaters, I agreed to this no problem, and soon found this wicked minty green cable knit crew by Acne.

Louis Vuitton SS12 is one of my favourite collections of the season, and I wanted to create a look that reflected their use of ladylike lace and soft-coloured leather. The lace skirt I’m wearing is actually a dress by Stella McCartney that is absolutely stunning. It makes me wish I was about to runaway and get married, because it is deffo the dress I’d take with me. To balance out the lengths of the cropped sweater and the dress, I added a powder blue silk blouse that complimented the freaking amazing blue leather Acne jacket I threw over my shoulders. Fashion Gods, please somehow let me have this in my real wardrobe one day!

What I Wore: Equipment blouse, Acne leather jacket, Stella McCartney Dress, Valentino bag, Kate Spade necklace, all from Holt Renfrew.

Ah, my “work” look! Don’t I look like a serious (-ly well-dressed) working professional? This look started with the amazing fuscia and orange Celine blouse (worn underneath) which I knew was getting incorporated into one of my outfits someway, somehow. Sticking to block colours, the Lim pants were located next, and the whole look was sharpened with the addition of the Burberry trench. I love that this trench is kept from being too traditional with its orange piping. Everything was pulled together with the fabulous Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and Alexander Wang iPad case – if only I really had an iPad!

What I Wore: Celine blouse, Burberry trench, Philip Lim pant, Nicholas Kirkwood heels, Alexander Wang clutch, all from Holt Renfrew.

My evening look! Of course I would find a way to dress down a beautiful gown, I guess this is my “dressed up but laidback look”. But really, this look is all about the new love of my life: the navy blue Balenciaga motorcycle jacket! Is there anything I love more than a motorcycle jacket? No. One in navy by Balenciaga? THERE ARE NO WORDS!

What I Wore: Phillip Lim dress, Balenciaga leather jacket, Kenneth Jay Lane earrings, Fendi bag, Alexander Wang shoes, all from Holt Renfrew.
