A good leopard print statement piece is nothing new to What I Wore, but, one in colour? That is new, indeed. This dress is actually from the fall collection of New York-based designer, WREN. I fell so in love with it when I saw it at their agency’s recent preview that I begged them to let me borrow it. How could I possibly wait so long to put this little number on?

The weather in Toronto lately has been so temperamental, it’s actually reminded me a lot of living in London England. On any given day you don’t know if you’re going to get hit by a hurricane or heat wave. Which means a girl’s got to be prepared to strip down or cover up at the same time.

Thankfully the classic 90s trend of tying a sweater around your waist is in with perfect timing. Here I’ve tied a beautifully fuchsia sweater that was kindly sent to me by John & Jenn, Line Knitwear‘s sister company. It adds the perfect pop of summery colour to an outfit that otherwise might veer to closely to an early fall look.
