Normally the big #WearCanada push comes during Toronto Fashion Week, which, of course, is taking place this week, however, I decided to #WearCanada early at last week’s Operanation 2014 event at the Four Seasons Centre for Performing arts. While I may have been early for this fashion week tradition, to be honest, #WearCanada should be something we all do on a regular (if not daily) basis.

For my very first Operanation experience, I decided to wear a dress by Greta Constantine, bag by Brave Leather, and statement ring by Jenny Bird. It’s not too hard to be chic in all Canadian now is it?

The annual event is in support of the Canadian Opera Company and not only featured a glamorous all-night cocktail party, but a live performance by French electro-pop band, YELLE. A moment to remember was when YELLE was joined on stage by some of Canada’s very own opera singers for a unique on-stage collaboration that thrilled the crowd and brought new meaning to the modern opera experience.

Take a look at some of the event photos below and be sure to grab a ticket when next year’s event comes around again!
