It may still be frosty outside here in Canada, but that’s no reason to not look forward to spring (which isn’t so far away!) with the help of playful pieces in your wardrobe. The latest thing to perk up my winter look? This floral kimono trimmed with white fringe from Smart Set. While it may not be appropriate at the moment for outdoor wear, it can easily be incorporated into a great indoor look to perk up your mood during these dreary months.
To me this pretty piece was perfect to throw on over an easy everyday outfit and spruce it up. It’s no surprise that I have (a rather extreme love) for overalls, and so they were easily my go-to choice to pair with the playful kimono, layered with a basic white t-shirt.
On days when you have to be covered up with huge coats and a lot of layers in order to venture outside, its certainly refreshing to get indoors and strip down to unveil a look that reminds us of the brighter, sunnier, and warmer days to come.
I mean, am I the only one who thinks this look is not only great in February, but could could be great just as great at the earliest summer music festival we can get to? Plus, it won’t wrinkle when you throw it in your suitcase!
Since this is the latest piece to be shown style in different ways by 10 different bloggers, take a look at the image below to check out the looks from Ania B., Gum Boot Glam, Northern Style Exposure, The Brunette Salad, Adventures in Fashion, The Skinny Blonde Girl, The Style Mogul, Dentelle et Fleur, The Booklet, and My Fash Avenue!
