When it comes to working out in Toronto, I’ve tried my fair share of workouts. Between my memberships with Classpass, Goodlife, Equinox, class packages for hot yoga, drop in boxing classes and the adidas #HereToCreate program, it feels like I’ve tried almost everything in the city, and it’s probably because I nearly have. As much as I love trying new workouts, I always strive to find the best and most challenging workouts that, ideally, are in the nicest and cleanest studios too.
What I’ve come to realise in my first three months as an Equinox ambassador for Equinox Toronto, is that the classes at Equinox are the best in the city, hands down. Seriously, this gym and its trainers are the best of the best, and their new classes just keep getting better. I mean, hello, you get access to sweat sessions lead by the amazing Julian Ho and Eva Redpath at their gyms!

THE PURSUIT by EQUINOX is an immersive studio cycling experience that uses groundbreaking in-studio gaming and data visualization to drive competition and inspire peak performance. Experience two classes, THE PURSUIT: BUILD and THE PURSUIT: BURN. Riders can work any workout shoe, although cycling shoes are recommended. This is a high cardio workout that will challenge your strength.
Efficient and precisely designed intervals on the treadmill will hit every muscle in your body for the ultimate burn. You’ll increase your power and speed, and forever improve your run. Do Barre like an athlete. Add figure-skating jumps and focused footwork to your Barre workout and propel your power, balance and endurance. Inspired by Olympic gold medal figure skater Tara Lipinski.
