Sundays are my favourite day not only because they are the official day of laziness, but because you can get away with wearing sweat pants outdoors without being judged as low life. As someone who has been oddly obsessed with hoodies their entire life, I really have to restrain myself from being that person that wears a sweat-something every day of the week.

Still, anything that is made of sweat material and can pass for acceptable clothing on any of the other six days of the week is a serious winner in my books. This little dress from Old Navy, for example, is actually one of the best things I have got my paws on recently. Seriously, I wore it three days straight over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend! In a dark charcoal heather, it actually reminds me of something from T by Alexander Wang.

I always think the secret to making lazy, comfy sweat pant outfits look cool is adding leather. I mean, throw a leather jacket over practically anything and BAM! you’ve got instant chic. In this case I tied a light heather grey raglan sweater (also from Old Navy) around my waist, and pulled things together with key leather pieces like my Danier moto jacket, Pashli bag and Topshop boots. It might not be suitable for a fresh Monday in the office, but it’s definitely the best thing on a Saturday strolling around the city.
