Fashion pajamas. What are they? My favourite kind of clothing. They help get me through the day feeling like I’ve spent it in bed, watching TV, without actually looking like it. Fashion pajamas are stylish, cozy and comfy. You could, in fact, sleep in your fashion pajamas, but you wouldn’t want to, because they are actually part of your real wardrobe.

On a side note, keep in mind that they are handy when an impromptu sleepover occurs after a night out on the town. Trust me: bodycon dresses, leather and anything embellished, with spikes, are not classified as fashion pajamas, and you do not want to wear them to sleep.

Here is an example of one of my I-just-rolled-out-of-bed-and-into-something-fabulous examples of a “casual cool” look. Take away the accessories, and you’ve got something I could happily curl up under the covers in. Throw on some pumps and a statement necklace, and I’m ready for work. Grab a leather biker jacket, a designer bag and a hat, and I’m ready to make heads turn when I walk out the door.

Once again, I applaud Ann Taylor. After a shopping splurge at the new store in the Eaton Centre, the pieces I found have helped me channel a ’60s pin-up girl, a winter chic look and now a creature of (fashion) comfort. All of which have been documented in What I Wore over the past few weeks. Here, I’m in head to toe Ann once again.
