Even though super early mornings aren’t normally my cup of tea, I am actually looking forward to waking up at 4am tomorrow morning in order to present a holiday and NYE fashion segment on CP24 highlighting fabulous looks from some of Square One Shopping Centre‘s many great retailers!

The CP24 fashion segments will be taking place between 7am-9am on Thursday morning and I invite you all to please tune in if you can! Here’s a sneak peek at some of the trends I will be focusing on with key pieces from retailers at Square One.

 

BLACK & WHITE

It was great news for the fashion crowd when looks that consisted of only black and white dominated the runways recently. You know how much we all love to wear black! White too, of course. You can easily update your wardrobe to reflect the trend with the right statement piece, like these Tuxedo Trousers from Ann Taylor available at Square One. If I had a daughter of my own right now, I would definitely dress her up as a little Punk Princess, especially over the holiday season. Frilly scary dresses? No thanks, this little girl is cool! I’m obsessed with this red tartan dress from Zara Kids at Square One. Do you think it comes in an adult size too?

 

THE PASTEL COAT

If you’re more sweet than sour, you’ve probably been drawn to the pretty pastel trend. In case you hadn’t noticed, the pastel pink coat was THE thing to have this season. Personally I prefer the pastel blue instead, like this mohair version in Sky Blue from Zara at Square One. Not sure how to wear a pastel coat in the winter? THE CHUBBY

Ah, the chubby coat… one of my personal favourites of the season! Even if you are anti-fur, there are ways to channel this trend in an animal-friendly way. Don’t you just love this Teddy Pea Coat from Topshop at Square One? Find out why I think this coat is one of the key pieces to have for holiday dressing tomorrow on the show.

THE VELVET SUIT

Is there anything better than seeing a man in a nice suit? I love that a rich velvet is back in fashion – for men and women – but am particularly happy to see it appear in men’s suiting in lovely jewel tones, as well as classic black. I found some beautiful options at Zara Men at Square One that I can’t wait to show you!

 

BAROQUE

Dolce & Gabbana‘s Baroque-inspired collection is definitely one of my favourites. I love the extravagant look of it all, and I think it’s just perfect for holiday dressing. Can you believe I found this amazing jacquard flounce dress from Ann Taylor at Square One?
