Huge music festivals and events give me anxiety. I’m not sure if it’s a real problem, or just an official sign that I’m getting old. Nevertheless, I like to send my amazing contributors to battle the crowds on my behalf. This year, it was the young, fun, music-loving Rebecca Ramsdale who headed off to Osheaga 2013. Here she shares her first experience at the annual music festival:
Once a year, music lovers from all over put their lives on hold and head to Montreal to attend one of the greatest music festivals Canada has to offer. At least that became my opinion after experiencing the festival for the first time this summer. Osheaga is three-day event that offers an amazing lineup of performers and sounds on five different stages. There’s also fantastic art displays and food from some of the yummiest restaurants in Montreal. Check out some of my favourite moments from the festival that I caught on film. Yeah, real photo film:
Freshly squeezed cold lemonade!
Art displays in the forest
Pizza Cones!
Macklemore and Tegan & Sara singing Same Love together.
The Mumford & Sons finale!
