It’s no secret that I love to host friends and family at #CasaGC, and the beautiful summer season always creates an opportune time to have everyone over and extend the festivities out into the garden. It’s also no secret that I love to serve (and share!) recipes that deliver something tasty, without a lot of fuss or work. I mean seriously, with the busy schedules we all deal with on most days, who has got time for overly fussy things that take hours or days to make?

I’ve shared before my affinity for creating signature cocktails for dinner parties that can be made in large batches to help keep you out of the kitchen when you have guests over, and just last week I whipped up a new concoction that was so easy and refreshing that I knew I just had to share it with everyone.

This really is the easiest and tastiest ginger beer lemonade recipe ever. Honestly, you don’t even have to squeeze any lemons! This drink is similar to a Shandy but is lighter, and, of course, includes the lovely taste of ginger thanks to Crabbie’s Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer. While this ginger beer does contain alcohol, it’s a much lighter cocktail to serve and is especially nice to serve throughout the day at a summer BBQ.

The recipe below will fill a small pitcher and serve 4-6 cocktail glasses.

Naturally, when you are hosting a crowd it’s great to have options and Crabbie’s Ginger Beer is great served on it’s own too! The perfect way to serve it is over ice with a slice of citrus for a super easy and refreshing summer drink.

Enjoy!
