Last week I was fortunate enough to be featured on my talented friend Arden Wray‘s blog called Boots & Pine. What I love about Arden is not only that she is young, cool, stylish, and talented, but that she is such a great advocate for creating a sense of community between the up-and-coming movers and shakers in Toronto. What she has created through Boots & Pine is a beautiful outlet that highlights so many of the great young creatives in the city. For me, it has become a hub for spotting new talent and applauding friends. I also love to get that sneaky peek of people in their personal space; it really reveals so much about a person, don’t you think?
My personal space, for instance, probably comes across as something like “fashion-crazed mad woman” and you’re just seeing a corner of it. Most of the time it resembles the after effects of a tornado, but thankfully I tidied up enough to allow for Arden to make her way through and snap these pictures.
In this look I’m wearing a full outfit from the killer Agency Once sample sale, including one of my favourite spring pieces: the elongated Stylestalker vest. On my feet are some very exciting new additions to my wardrobe that are from non-other than GUESS! Hard to believe right? When I first saw them on the The Bay‘s Facebook page, I immediately thought they were from The Room, I mean, they had to be designer, right? Wrong. Sine then I have discovered that GUESS can really throw down when it comes to their shoes, and I’m seriously impressed with their quality; I mean, these shoes are actually comfy!
What I Wore: Stylestalker elongated vest, Something Else by Natalie Wood blouse, Stylestalker print shorts (all from the Agency One sample sale), GUESS shoes.
Get The Look: 1. Pencey standard french terry moto jacket/vest from Shopbop, 2. dream of the crop cardigan in navy from Mod Cloth, 3. replicant floral chambray shorts by Stylestalker, 4. double pin buckle block heel sandals ankle strap flats from Oasap, 5. 12k gold-plated orange enamel under the sun bangle bracelet by Kate Spade New York, 6. royce leather knapsack from eBags.
