For the fashion folk, it’s hard to think about anything other than Wold MasterCard Fashion Week from now until Friday night. It often completely overshadows anything else that’s going on in the world (let alone the city) which is a shame when another important series of events is taking place simultaneously over the same week.
That’s right, as of today until Sunday, it’s also Canadian Music Week in Toronto! Did they plan this on purpose because they know rockstars love fashion people (okay, mainly models) and vice versa? I guess we’ll never really know, but it seems suspect to me.
Whatever the truth may be, one thing we can know for sure is that everyone involved (no matter which week you’re attending) loves great skin. If you’ve followed my beauty posts, you will already be familiar with my love for using 100% Organic Argan Oil on my skin and hair.
This year, Olie biologique (a luxury line of artisanal organic skincare oils) was requested by the MusiCares Board of Directors to provide an exclusive VIP gift for the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year event honouring Bruce Springsteen, which took place back in February.

Some of the Grammy artists who went home with ‘The Rockstar of Skincare‘ include Mary J. Blige, Sting, Elton John, and Mumford & Sons, just to name a few. If this 100% USDA Certified Argan Oil (which has been custom packaged for MusiCares and is not available for retail sale) is good enough for them, don’t you think you need it too? I do!
