Considering I was barelegged and wearing a t-shirt in my last What I Wore post, you can probably tell that the temperatures have dropped in Toronto. No biggie though, I am actually a fan of colder weather. I love to layer, and it’s a great reason to wear ALL of my clothes, sometimes all at once.

This week’s look took me from a day at the office to a night out on the town. While the whole thing could have looked rather fancy and over the top (especially during the day) I love how these slip on brogues from Jeffrey Campbell brought a more laid back and casual vibe to the whole thing.

As you can see, there were a few layers involved in my outfit. Seriously, it got freezing here fast! I started out with a great pair of wool ACNE pants that I picked up at Tokio 7 while in NYC over the weekend, with a delicate peplum top from Ann Taylor. Don’t you just love the Stella McCartney-esque polka dot detail? Next came a thick cashmere cardigan with fur collar that I picked up at a vintage store in Grand Bend in the summer for something like $20. It might seem weird to buy a cashmere cardigan in the middle of the summer, but I believe that when you find something great you grab it! To top things off I wore my Tracy Reese leopard print coat which is actually from spring, but its oversized design works great for fall layering.

Of course we can’t forget about the shoes, I love these shoes! Shewwwwwws!

What I Wore: Tracy Reese coat from Mendocino, vintage cardigan, peplum top from Ann Taylor, wool pants by Acne from Tokio 7, earrings by Danni Jo, sunglasses by Celine, bag by Chanel, Jeffrey Campbell shoes from Capezio.
