Considering the fact that I’ve grown up watching Marilyn Denis on TV and absolutely LIVED for her Fashion Friday segments, it really felt like a dream come true to get to take part in a fashion segment, on a Friday, with the one and only Marilyn Denis, who, in my opinion, is Canada’s version of Oprah.
I was thrilled when The Marilyn Denis Show team approached me to take part in the very first Marilyn Denis Battle of The Bloggers challenge against Natalie Ast. I’ve always enjoyed watching viewer makeovers, and was excited to see what I could do in such a short amount time.
My candidate, Laura, is such a cool woman and we hit it off right away. I mean, the woman works for a wine company (and prefers red like I do), loves making her own green juice every morning, and was ecstatic about everything I picked out for her – it’s like we’re soul mates!
As you can imagine, we had a blast working together and I’m really proud of the look I created for her.
