There are two very important events coming up over the next couple of weeks that I’m ecstatic to share with you, and really hope that you can all make it out. This week, on Thursday evening, I have teamed up with one of my favourite Queen West stores, Sauvage, to host a clothing drive for Prom Boutique. You may remember Prom Boutique from last year when I called out for your help with donations. Prom Boutique is an incredible initiative created by the charity, New Circles, that sets up a boutique where teens who can’t afford to splurge on prom outfits can go and “shop” for outfits for their big night.

Please join us at Sauvage on Thursday evening to drop off your gently used clothing (dresses, shoes, bags/clutches, jewelry, pants, blazers, ties, and shirts) as well as new makeup (including nail polish, perfume or cologne). Everyone who attends with donations is welcome to enjoy some complimentary wine and dance to the tunes provided by DJ Eric The Tutor!

We’ve all got extra items in our closets that we can live without. It’s easy to forget that something that doesn’t mean much to you can change another person’s life. If you are unable to attend the event, Sauvage will be accepting donations throughout the week, as well as the following week.

If you live on the east side of town, Nathalie-Roze & Co. has generously offered their space to host the Queen East drop off location for the second year in a row! Donations can be dropped off during store hours from March 26th onwards.

On Thursday April 4th (holy crap, it’s April already!?) you can find myself, along with the ladies from Front Row Mag, at GUESSQueen West location when we host the  launch party for the new GUESS Festival Collection! If you’re gearing up for the major music festivals to come this summer, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to check out their Coachella-inspired collection. Even better is that you can do so while also enjoying drinks, treats, DJ tunes, and our awesome company! Don’t forget to RSVP (here) by Monday April 1st to get on the list!

Hope to see you all at this Thursday and next Thursday’s events!
