There’s little that pleases me more than discovering a restaurant in Toronto where every dish that touches my lips makes me stop and go ‘mmmmmmmm’. Hardly a newbie on the block, or on the foodie scene of Toronto, THR & Co (little sister to THe Harbord Room), is my new restaurant of choice, even though it’s not a new restaurant.

Why? Let me tell you: Their Sunday brunch? Insanely good. The $30 Sunday Gravy family-style set menu? To die for.

Honestly, if they didn’t close for a few hours between brunch and dinner service, I don’t think I would leave.

A couple of weekend’s ago, I had the honour of hosting a few of my favourite Toronto tastemaker’s on behalf of The Chic Canuck for a #ChicBrunch at THR & Co. There was steak tartare, there was french toast, there were cocktails — heck there were even Paleo and mocktail options for lil’ ol’ me on my darn #GCfit-month diet!

It was a fabulous time on a beautiful day in a gorgeous setting. Click HERE to read The Chic Canuck contributor, Michelle Pinchev of City By Heart’s post on her experience at the #ChicBrunch.

The Sunday before hosting the #ChicBrunch, I had the chance to visit THR & Co for the very first time when I sat down for their new $30 Sunday Gravy menu. Right after a vigorous Bikram yoga class, I couldn’t have been happier to dig in to a heavenly Italian spread that included sauce-smothered meatballs, creamy polenta, fennel salad, spicy sausages and more.

As you can see from what I posted on Instagam, and my Toronto Style Diary on Flare, we enjoyed the meal so much that we totally demolished everything on the table.

Would I eat here again? Every single Sunday night. And you should too.

Enjoy!
