It’s hard to imagine it possible to love George Clooney even more than I already do, but then I found out he had his own tequila brand. George, it is possible. I love you even more than before!  Since I was recently gifted a bottle George’s Casamigos Tequila for #CasaGC, it seemed only fitting to start playing around with cocktail recipes. The result? A spicy (aka caliente) margarita that I’ve affectionately named ‘The Clooney‘.

‘The Clooney’ is the result of an adaptation of the Barefoot Contessa‘s Jalapeño Margaritas, and inspired by my favourite drink at my favourite Mexican restaurant in Toronto, the spicy Margherita Milagro from Milagro Cantinas. Considering it is currently December, ‘The Clooney’ isn’t your typical festive cocktail, but there’s no doubt that its kick will keep you warm when its cold out. Keep reading for how to make it!
