You may curse my name for the mere mention of fall when it feels like we’ve only just found summer, but, alas, here I am talking about some my favourite things for fall. Life as an Editor and Blogger, means you’re constantly thinking ahead – in fact, most often at least 6 months ahead. Unfortunately, fall isn’t actually that far away, and you may have noticed pre-fall already hitting stores. Luckily today’s fall highlights include my Indigo It List aka my Top 5 picks from Indigo‘s Fall 2015 collection.

If you’re anything like me, you can get lost for hours in any local Indigo store. Between the Fashion books and the Cooking section (often located right next to each other) it can literally be half a day before I come up for air. And don’t even get me started on their home section! You can’t possibly tell me you can actually pass by their trendy and affordable goods without picking up at least one or two new things, can you?

Considering how much I love to browse Indigo stores, I was incredibly flattered when they asked for me to share my  Top 5 Indigo It List picks for fall. Take a look at what I chose below!

 The Feather Passport Cover

Considering all of the travel I’ve been doing this year to shoot the Style Jaunt series, it seemed only appropriate to choose this Feather Passport Cover in Navy. I love that this cover has got a fun wanderlust vibe to it, and, after having my passport stolen while living in London UK, I’ve learned that covering up a desirable passport is a good idea. Also, your passport won’t easily get mixed up with any others when it looks this cute!

The Harvest Lowball Glasses

Once cooler weather sets in, I can’t help but be attracted to gold-trimmed anything, and dark coloured liquors. These ‘Harvest‘ lowball glasses jumped out to me instantly as I immediately pictured me and my guests cozied up by the fire, enjoying a warming glass of whiskey in these festive glasses together. I just love them!

The Portfolio Clutch

Fall 2015 is a particularly exciting season for Indigo because of the launch of their largest in-house fashion collection collection to date. Not only are Indigo’s handbags sleek and chic, but remarkably affordable too. My personal favourite is the Portfolio Clutch that’s perfect for a stylish blogger on the go. In fact, I’m pretty sure I could even fit my macbook air in there!  And at $34, it really can’t be beat.

Jamie Oliver & Elon Musk

Reading about successful, entrepreneurial and ground-breaking people is one of my favourite ways to find inspiration on a daily basis. When it comes to reading about successful and entrepreneurial men, I guess you could say it’s my version of reading a Harlequin Romance novel. As you can imagine, I can’t wait to dig into Ashlee Vance’s book on Elon Musk which also happens to be one of Heather’s Picks. In the kitchen, I’m looking forward to exploring Jamie Oliver‘s newest cookbook, Comfort Food, which will undoubtedly come in handy once the temperature drops.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my Indigo It List for Fall 2015!

Thank you Indigo!
