GiftGuide1

If you, like me, woke up this morning and realised you’re still missing gifts for half the people on your list, here’s a last minute gift guide of 25 great items to grab for December 25th. Happy shopping!

GiftGuide2

1. Macarons from Nadege

If you’re shopping for someone with a sweet tooth, you can’t go wrong with a box of these delectable macarons from Nadege  in Toronto. Look how pretty and colourful they are! An extra perk is that Nadege now ships across Canada; wouldn’t it be a great way to surprise a Torontonian living in another city with some of the best sweets our city has to offer?

GiftGuide3

2. Chocolate Tablets from Nadege

In my family, stockings are pretty much entirely reserved for filling with fancy chocolates. When else do you have a good reason to splurge on your favourite dark indulgence? There’s no doubt that a chocolate lover wouldn’t be thrilled to spell out their own name in these individually wrapped chocolate bars from Nadege.

3. Jack Rudy Cocktail Co.’s Small Batch Tonic

Do you know someone that loves a good Gin & Tonic? Surprise them with this fabulous bottle of ‘Small Batch Tonic‘ from Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. If you’re lucky, they’ll make you a proper Gin & Rudy (recipe provided on the bottle label) to thank you.

4. A Bottle of Hendrick’s Gin

Well obviously you can’t make a Gin & Rudy without the gin! Score extra points by completing the Gin & Tonic gift package with a bottle of Hendrick’s Gin.

5. The Whisky Decanter

Almost every year for my dad’s Christmas gift, I end up getting him a nice bottle of whiskey. This year I thought I would change it up and find him something nice to actually put his whiskey in, like this decanter by Sticla from Home Sense.

GiftGuide5

6. A Soda Stream

Looking for a cool appliance that won’t break the bank? A Soda Stream is a great option for those who love to drink sweet fizzy drinks, or sparkling water in general. The Soda Stream is also a great item for hosts to have on hand for making fancy cocktails and impressing their guests!

7. A Piece from The Uncarved Block

If you’re in search of a unique piece from a local talent, consider a piece from The Uncarved Block. These beautiful wood block items range from incense holders to charcuterie boards, and are bound to be appreciated by anyone with an eye for design.

8. The Just Slate Company’s Antler Tray

The slate tray by The Slate Company and carried by CanGifts David Shaw Tableware in Canada is definitely one of my favourite gift ideas for The Hostess this season. I love that the silver antler handles are sleek, yet have a very Canadiana feel to them. It’s perfectly festive, yet will not look out of place when used throughout the year.

9. The Fjallraven Backpack

Although the backpack is no-longer reserved for those in school, this stylish version from Fjallraven would be appreciated by your most stylish friend, as well as any kids you may be shopping for.

10. The Caravelle Watch

Looking for something for him? A watch is a classic gift that never goes out of style. I love this statement piece from Caravelle with its green face. Caravelle is a great source for timepieces for both men and women that are available at accessible price points that won’t break the bank.

GiftGuide9

11. Rosette Earrings by Nelle Han

Nelle Han is one of the newest jewellers to hit the scene in Toronto. Formerly the assistant to Jenny Bird, Han is now focusing on her own namesake label. These gold plated rosette earrings would be a treat for any woman that loves jewellery.

GiftGuide10

12. The Michelle Ross Friendship Bracelet

You know, not every friendship bracelet has to be one made out of thread and worn until it disintegrates. If you’re passed the stage of making bracelets for each other at camp, consider treating your BFF to a more stylish (and sturdy) bracelet instead. My personal favourite is this brass bracelet by Toronto-based designer, Michelle Ross, that features a beautiful hook closure.

GiftGuide11

13. IT by Alexa Chung

Globally recognised style icon, Alexa Chung, has come out with a book! This is probably one of the most coveted books to find under the Christmas tree this year, there’s no way you’ll disappoint with this one.

14. The Statement Necklace from Michelle Ross

The talented Michelle Ross also specializes in statement necklaces. I love her chunky creations that involve loads of chains and rhinestones all wrapped together. If you’ve got a fierce and fashionable lady on your list, one of Michelle’s necklaces would be a perfect fit.

GiftGuide12

15. The Cinder by Obakki Candle

Need a last minute secret santa idea? This $35 Cinder candle from the Obakki Faoundation provides 100% of its proceeds towards Obakki’s clean water projects in Africa. How many candles can you say are burning for a good cause?

16. Aigle’s Liberty Rainboots from Raindrops

Liberty is by far my favourite store in London, England. It is best known for its incredible prints that have showed up on everything from a collection with MAC cosmetics, to Nike trainers. After winter comes spring, so why not surprise a lucky someone with these amazing Liberty-print rainboots by Aigle from Raindrops in Yorkville?

17. The Moroccanoil Candle

There are a lot of people who swear by Moroccanoil products. Who can blame them? It has changed many a head of hair! Their products also smell amaaazing. They recently introduced a candle to their range, and who wouldn’t want their house to smell like Moroccanoil?

18. The Way Spa Gift Card

Want to treat someone to a spa experience but not sure which spa? Let them choose! With a Way Spa gift card you can fund the experience, while they get to select which spa suits them best at any of the spas offered through Way Spa‘s booking website.

Want to WIN one of two $50 Way Spa gift cards?

FOLLOW @GracieCarroll on Twitter,  TWEET: “I want to #win a $50 @WaySpaCom gift from @GracieCarroll‘s #giftguidegiveaway! #Giveaway details here: http://graciecarroll.com/?p=8365 ” and COMMENT below when complete (please leave a real email address so I can contact you if you win!)

19. MIYU Prettea Little Tea Quartet Pack

This is truly the best thing you could give to the tea and beauty lover. MIYU‘s product line combines tea with their beauty products to offer beautiful skincare that’s free of parabens, sulphates, and animal testing. Their ‘A Prettea Little Quartet‘ pack comes complete with product, tea bags, and instructions for which teas to drink when using their products.

GiftGuide16

20. Skoah’s Holiday Kollection

Skoah is a brand that I discovered last year while visiting Vancouver. They are so serious about their skincare that they offer ‘Skin Gym Memberships.’ Their products are all natural and a great option for unisex use as they smell of fresh cucumbers, not heavy perfumes.

21. Korres’ Jasmine Shower Gel

One of the best things about Christmas is getting spoiled with fancy products that you wouldn’t normally purchase for yourself on the regular. For example, splurging on a nice body wash! Most often I just grab whatever’s on sale, so receiving a luxe wash like this Jasmine shower gel from Korres would be a real treat.

22. Makeup from Elizabeth Arden

With its gold trim casing and statement red accent logo, makeup from Elizabeth Arden is not only an impressive brand to find tucked away in your stocking, but will fit right in with a festive decor. A few of the eyeshadow colours recommended by Elizabeth Arden to achieve a holiday beauty look include the Shimmering Emerald 18, Innocence 19, and Blonde 04.

GiftGuide17

23. Rodial’s Mary Katrantzou Candle

Yes there are quite a few candles featured in this gift guide, but as I’ve got older I’ve realised that candles really are one of the best gifts to give, and receive! Why? Because nice candles are expensive and something I tend to feel guilty buying for myself. The Mary Katrantzou for Rodial candle is perfect for any fashion lover.

24. Arbonne’s Peppermint Foot Care Gift Set

It’s the end of the year, and it’s time to pamper ourselves. Encourage someone on your list to kick up their feet, and take care of them with this foot care set from Arbonne. What’s extra awesome is that it already comes wrapped up in festive packaging! I am all about saving time and decreasing the amount of wrapping I have to do at this time of year.

25. Bottega Veneta’s Bath Set

Looking to splash out on something extra fancy for the bath lover? Bottega Veneta‘s luxurious bath set includes a softening body scrub, body oil and perfumed body lotion. It also happens to be my go-to winter scent! I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t freak out when they unwrapped this set.

Good Luck Everyone! There’s still 2 more days left to shop! xo
