Catalonia-Royal-Bavaro-11

This year has been filled with some incredible travel; I’ve been to Germany, Spain, Nashville… as well as Lisbon, Puerto Vallarta and Glasgow with the Style Jaunt travel series. Now that I’m heading to my 10th country this year (the Dominican Republic) I can finally rejoice in the fact that a. I have never been to the DR or Punta Cana before, and b. this trip is the closest I’ll come to a real vacation in almost a year. That’s right, most of my trips have been for work! With my hectic schedule, this one really couldn’t come soon enough.

While I’ll be enjoying a luxurious stay at Catalonia Hotel & Resorts Royal Bavaro with Booking Hello, I thought it would be fun to drum up a little travel #outfitinspo for anyone else who is heading down south soon by putting together a list of 12 things I’d pack for a dreamy wardrobe in Punta Cana. Take a look below!

From what I’ve heard and can see from pictures (hello, take a look at that shot in the photo above), Punta Cana has some of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic. That photo is specifically from Catalonia Royal Bavaro and I can’t wait to turn into a total beach bum for a week upon arrival. My ultimate beach look would include this super chic one piece by Solid & Striped, fabulous round sunglasses by Linda Farrow, a great big tote by Helen Kaminski to through all of my books and mags into,  and simple tie ankle sandals by KAANAS.

Horseback riding, zip lining, outback safaris and catamaran tours… there seems to be no shortage of things to do in Punta Cana! While I’m personally most interested in taking part in the surf camp, for a an adventure on land I’d love to wear something easy and comfortable like this long sleeve tassel dress by Derek Lam 10 Crosby, metallic slip on sneakers by MICHAEL Michael Kors, Let’s Get Lost pouch by Flight 001, and vacation-appropriate tropical phone case by Sonix.

From restaurants and bars to the casino, there’s not shortage of resources for a good time at Catalonia Royal Bavaro. Naturally, I always pack a few party-appropriate pieces when I travel to help elevate my looks to be nighttime appropriate. On this trip to Punta Cana,  my ultimate party look would include this backless romper by Stylestalker, amazing lace and patent leather booties by Prabal Gurung, fun candy wrapper clutch bag by Kate Spade and statement tassel earrings by Rachel Zoe.

Since this dreamy wardrobe for Punta Cana really is, well, just a dream, be sure to follow my travels and What I Wore during my stay at Catalonia Royal Bavaro with Booking Hello with hashtags #SayHelloToLove #GCtravel and #GracieGoesToDominican.
